Reviving a legendary site with student living in mind
Rialto House stands on the site of a former cinema that once welcomed The Beatles. Now, it’s a cutting-edge, four-storey development offering 275 student bedrooms and 80,000 square feet of shared living space.
Amenities include a gym, cinema, yoga studio, games room, co-working areas, and green courtyards. GMI Construction committed to using local suppliers, adding to the project’s sustainability credentials.
The Transformation:

What was once a construction zone is now a green and vibrant courtyard. Students now have a relaxing, communal space that encourages time outdoors.

The Approach:
Six weeks of focused, coordinated landscaping
Atlas Green was brought in to complete the external landscaping works. Over six weeks, our team worked alongside other trades to deliver a seamless finish across the site.
We imported 180 tonnes of soil and planted over 2,000 shrubs and 18 trees. These green elements soften the urban setting, improve air quality, and create a pleasant outdoor space for residents.
